Shopping for birthday present, catalog of pens displayed as complete pen set including body of pen. What received was pen 🖊 "parts" with no explanation pertaining to the men's body. Customer service informed me that I was suppose to use a lathe machine to build a pen body. Not at all what I expected . I was given the option to return the product, At My Cost!! Which I did using UPS, cost me $18.00 to return to get a $34 refund which has not been credited as yet.

I like the products from Pen-State very much. The pen kits are to me a high quality. My one thing that I'm disappointed with is the price for shipping. To me it's a little high. For example the extra charge for shipping on the assembly/disassembly tool I purchased.

Their website had a wide selection of great materials and I picked out a few options my client loved. Pricing was fair, I was able to track the delivery as it went, and it arrived protected and safe. I ordered 16 casted pen blanks which were all accounted for, but they came in a single plastic bag for each one. Why not four or more wrapped together and save on plastic waste? Still, I was able to fit four each into a bag and mark them for organization and I'm excited to start turning them into beautiful sets of pens!

One of the products in the order was broken upon receipt. There was no damage to the outside packaging so I don’t believe it occurred in transit and was most likely sent that way. . I was able to glue the broken piece so I did not contact support.

Most everything was good. Some of the acryllic blanks I have purchased from you in the past have crumbled on the lathe. Maybe due to poor mix. Not your fault but it is money down the drain. I know my chisels are sharp.
