I was a loyal Origins customer for over a decade, but I haven’t been buying it as much after the changes to the product selection and the loyalty program. But, the Perfect World cleanser has been the only cleanser I’ve used for over a decade. I saw a Black Friday flash deal on it for half off, so I tried to place an order, but when I signed in, it disappeared from my cart. I checked later on, and it was back in stock and the half off price was listed. But, when I added it to my cart, it only gave me the 30% off for products that weren’t part of the flash deal. I contacted customer support, they weren’t very friendly, but whatever. I just wanted the deal. I was super nice, because it’s not their fault that the site had a problem. But, the agent took forever to respond to almost everything. All I wanted was a correction to the price. In the time it took me to wait for her to respond, the flash deal price wasn’t there anymore, and all she said was the price changed, not even a sorry or let me see what I can do. The exchange took just under TWO HOURS! I don’t even know how I had the patience for it. And, if Origins wants to contact me to see if I’m exaggerating, I have the transcripts. So, I guess I’m only getting 30% off. I have such a sour taste in my mouth after this. It should’ve been quick and easy. Maybe 10+ using the same cleanser is too long. Might be time to look at other brands. Do better, Origins.
