I am extremely disappointed with my purchase experience. Before placing my order, I specifically called to inquire about a 5GANG mailbox recess mount. The salesperson provided me with a model number for the surface mount instead, which was misleading. When the package arrived, I found that the wrong item had been shipped.
I reached out to customer service, and while they agreed to take the item back, I was told that I would need to pay for return shipping and a 15% restocking fee. This is completely unfair, as the mistake was on their end, not mine. A company should not pass these costs onto the customer when their salespeople are not knowledgeable about the products they sell.
Due to this poor customer service and lack of accountability, I am very dissatisfied with my experience and will not be making any future purchases from this company.
