Horrific packaging and shipping condition

I really love the actual product. I ordered mugs and two types of plates. However, the delivery took a decently long time to ship with several delays updated. What made me the most upset was the quality of the packaging and the condition of the boxes that arrived. One of the boxes was completely open with tape dangling. It was dented and in disheveled appearance.

I enjoy the product and needed to buy some extra small bowls because the other ones had broken. I received the package and it was packed tight. However when I began taking the bowls out of the box I accidentally hit two in a row on the dishwasher door and they broke. Not your fault I would recommend Mikasa they are a great company

I have Mikasa Italian country side dishware I use daily. I have been looking for large coffee mugs to go with the dishes and saw these and loved them immediately. Unfortunately the Mikasa name washed off so they obviously were not yours but looks like your pattern. My friend kept complimentaring the mugs so for her birthday I went on your web site and ordered 16 mugs. I am keeping four for myself and she gets the dozen. The pattern on the knock off mugs are quite identically but there is a slight difference. I had to speak to your customer service and they were polite and helpful. I use my dishes for over 10 years and I find they are chipping. I guess it is bound to happen. I do like my dishes for all these year.

The outer box was battered and bashed in when the dishes arrived. Fortunately, the inner packing was sufficient to protect from breakage. Recommend stronger outer box with better taping at seams.

The delivery was re-scheduled multiple times by UPS. On a Wednesday, UPS message was delivery re-scheduled for Friday. On Thursday, UPS message was delivery scheduled for Monday. I emailed Mikasa customer service who replied the they have no control over UPS, but their info shows delivery is scheduled for Friday. The ordered plates arrived late Friday. I assume Mikasa pressured UPS to make the delivery Friday. Thank you.
