Sometime in May I backordered a box of .22 cal ammo, a $13 item. During the last week in June I received an email stating that the backordered item was in. To take advantage of "free shipping" for orders over $100, I added 4 boxes of 9mm ammo and placed the order totaling $119.25, including tax. I received this order on about July 3rd. On Jul 5th I received a second box of 22 call ammo and was billed $26.28, (INCLUDING ABOUT $14 FOR SHIPPING!). I immediately called Midway customer service to inquire why I received a second box of 22 and charged more for shipping than the actual cost item. I requested a couple of remedies to correct what I viewed as a problem, to include reimbursement for the shipping cost. All to no avail. The Midway representative, Chris, told me that it was company policy and that he could not do anything about the charges. I told Chris that I was a Midway customer for 9 years and was very disappointed with how they handled this situation. It made no difference. As a result of this incident. I WILL NEVER PURCHASE ANYTHING FROM THEM AGAIN. Please share this review with Midway.
