I love love LOVE my W's Pounder Plus 25 sleeping bag but it's nearly 20 years old and is is threadbare in multiple places from heavy use. She's been west with me to Zion and east to Acadia, south to the swamps of the Atchafalaya basin in Louisiana and northern Minnesota in view of Lake Superior in sub-zero temps. Packed on a backpack, strapped to a bike, shoved in a kayak hold and tossed into the back of so many cars. I LOVE HER. But I'm afraid if I try to wash her one more time she'll fall apart completely. I was looking for a replacement and thought I'd found one in the Women's Trestle 15 bag, but the trestle is significantly heavier and doesn't compress nearly as small as the Pounder. Looking at the specs, I may need to switch to the Trestle 30 but from what I can see it's going to be tight in the hip area of the bag. It makes me so sad that Marmot doesn't seem to carry a reasonably priced lightweight bag with enough space for a body with a booty. Or maybe I just am still in love with my Pounder Plus...
