A few months ago I had a very unsatisfactory experience with LovelySkin, due to their unfair policies and very snarky and unhelpful customer service. I would say the the worst policy and worst customer service in my on-line purchases. The policy was and no doubt still is that LovelySkin charges the customer's credit card at the time of order even if the item is backordered and there is no shipping date available. Lovelyskin is the ONLY on line store that charges at the time of order when the item is not available. When I enquired about this policy I was told that I needed to be charged in order to retain my place in line for the item. That was utterly ridiculous and borderline dishonest. My place in line should be determined by when I place my order and I should not be charged for an item that may or may not ever be shipped to me, or shipped in any kind of timely manner. When I heard this nonsense I vowed not to order from Lovely Skin again. However, I wanted to order the Epionce Renewal Eye cream, and Lovely Skin currently had the best price. Fortunately, the item was in stock so I did not have to deal with their customer UNFRIENDLY policy of charging for an item with a mystery ship date. I have had multiple problems with LovelySkin's policies over the years. They are always designed to disadvantage the customer. In my case, LovelySkin totally destroyed any customer loyalty I might have had, in addition to ensuring that I would never recommend Lovely Skin to anyone I know. It's a rotten company, which one can tell by the policies and by the snarky, uncaring customer service. I'm already regretting breaking my vow not to purchase from LovelySkin, but the sale was attractive, and as I said the item was in stock. I don't care how good of a sale price the item might have, if it is not in stock, I will not subject myself to Lovely Skin's "pay now, receive whenever, or if ever policy." Their attitude is "we don't care, take or leave our policy, we come first, the customer comes last."
