I ordered baby shoes as a gift, they sent adult socks. The first resolution was for me to tell the gift recipient they had to take a return label and go to a ups store to return the socks before they could have the baby shoes shipped (which were a gift ordered from me - they didn't even make the order). I did not want to make the gift recipient have to go find a ups store and return socks to receive a gift that I ordered and had sent to them. (That was ridiculous). I said I'd tell them if it could be picked up at their house by ups (or I'd even pay 1/2 price for them to keep the socks that I never ordered). I finally got a supervisor on the phone that said that would cost more than the socks anyway, so they could keep the socks. I said, thank you very much. They requested shoes be resent, but a week later the tracking still said only that the label was created. I called again and was told they'd check on the problem but it would take 3 to 5 days to find out why they weren't shipped. This time I was very frustrated, but said okay. They finally showed up at their house 4 or 5 days later. They loved the shoes, but I was very frustrated. If Journeys customer service had not been nice and tried resolving the first time, by not having a gift recipient run all over town to return socks, I would not have returned back to Journeys. Because they did take care of it and do have great shoes and ultimately great customer service (this is the most important factor), I will be back.
