I have been needing a new pair of black hey dudes as well finally purchasing a white crochet boho pair that I’ve been eyeing for a while. Since my birthday was October 9th I decided I was finally gonna splurge and buy myself these shoes. Journeys happened to be having a sale as well as taking my afterpay which made everything so much easier in my budget. After placing my purchase I was so excited to receive my shoes. I used the provided tracking and waited patiently for them to arrive. The first ones I got were my black dudes. They were perfect. So excited for the second pair to come. They came while I was at work. I ripped the box open as soon as I got home, only to be met with disappointment. The shoes were shipped from a store, just like the black ones. However since these were white you could tell which shoe was on the floor to be tried on my countless other customers. One shoe was perfect beautiful pristine white, while the other was a dingy gray. I truly don’t understand how the employee who packed my order though these shoes were acceptable to sell to someone. One shoe looked like it had already been worn for at least a month. The bottom of the shoe even had wear on it! I was so disappointed. These were supposed to be my birthday shoes that I’ve been waiting to finally buy. I went straight to the journeys website to speak to customer service and get an exchange. Luckily customer service was great and understanding. They too could see the damage and discoloration to the shoes. I’m going to be returning the damaged goods next week. I can’t say this has been even an ok experience or that I would ever recommend this store to someone or make another purchase myself. Truly unfortunate since I already had a pair of vans creepers in my cart to purchase.
