I am placing this order bc I originally ordered the wrong size and went into the store to swap but they didn’t have my size so I ordered a replacement. The replacement is still sitting unprocessed 3 days later when I received the initial delivery on the 3rd day. Not sure what’s going on here, but these are a gift and I need them so I am ordering the boots again bc my guess is I will get these before the replacements even tho the replacement were purchased 3 days ago. Not really good customer service. I realize I made the mistake but I offered to place the order myself bc I wanted to ensure I would get these before delivery quickly and the very nice women at the store assured me I would get these before delivery replacements as quick as the originals. The delay is not there fault. They just placed the order. I’m not sure whose fault it is actually but with an in stock item, it should never sit around for 2-3 days before it ships out. I just don’t see how this is good service.
Anyhow, the website has been great. The associates in the store for the exchange and replacement order were amazing. And even the initial delivery of the boots was amazing. Delivered to my doorstep on the morning of the 3rd day. It’s only this process of getting a replacement that leaves room. So I will get whichever first I can, and return the 2nd pair so I can make sure I have the gift. I shouldn’t have had to do that, but it is what it is. I’ll try not to have to need to replace anything from Journeys, knowing that their replacement process isn’t like their original order process.
