Your shopping cart is poorly designed. I had to cancel the item from the cart (ordering on a laptop) in order to reduce the qty from 2 to 1. There was no adjust at the cart level and no (-1) option at the item level.
When I tried to checkout, your system had no obvious way to separate Billing from Shipping. I found it after a while.
My billing is a PO Box. My Mailing is a PO Box. I cannot receive USPS at my house. My street address if for all courier services. Since I know companies look for the best option and will switch based on rates, both addresses are included in address in the form of
Name
Physical
Box
C/S/Z
If I put the line at PO Box 413, I know from experience that shipping departments aren't smart enough to read the line above and use the street address. If I don't put the box number and somethign is mailed, it is refused by the PO as No Such Address.
To avoid this, I use #413, which is the universal option for Apartments and Suites. It also allows the PO to figure out where to bring the mail. Putting Box 413 confuses too many systems. Sometimes I can get away with 413 without the #.
In this case, I had to delete the Box line completely bc your software thinks it knows better.
I spent 20 years running an online retail company and know the challenges first hand. We programmed around this to give a better customer experience.
The error messages told me to delete or update my billing address, but only displayed the Shipping on the screen.
I emptied my cart multiple times until I could figure out how you were set up. I was close to giving up and shopping elsewhere.
I started the process on my phone and did give up. I was not able to figure out what was wrong. The error message kept telling me to try later.
Overall, your prompts do not guide the customer so they can easily correct the cart errors as identified by the software. It is a design fail.
I do enjoy your store, but this was not a fun experience.
