I recently purchased a lot of Spektrum chargers from Horizon. My 3 latest purchases have been my favorites. Continue to innovate on the charger front. Really love the simple chargers that have buttons/LEDs (S220/S100). Would love to see an S420 (4 port charger). Would be great for the small UMX 2/3 cell batteries.

I loved the fact I could search for parts by model and even an exploded view. I do wish some items had more robust descriptions or specifications but at the price point I wasn’t too concerned if it ended up being the wrong part. Contact is difficult except by chat which is usually busy. The model I wanted was out of stock until December 2026. On recommendation of customer service I bought a model not designed for a novice like me but for a more advanced user. I learned this after purchase. Upon receipt of the model I began the assembly process which should have been relatively simple using the bag of screws in the box. The plans list the screws by letter but no letters are on the bags resulting in trial and error and considerable delay and frustration in getting the model together. Another issue is the wiring. All the wires in the wing to be attached to the wires in the fuselage for flaps and ailerons are the same color so what goes where is again a time consuming guessing game. Lastly, the order of assembly is wacky. Before attaching the wings, the battery should be charged and placed in the fuselage compartment. For safety, don’t attach the prop to the motor at shipment so that the motor, if inadvertently connected, the prop doesn’t chop off your finger. I could go on with issues of assembly which could be solved with corrections to the plans.

It’s frustrating when you buy a plane or a helo from the local hobby shop (Hobbytown in this case) and immediately crash go back for parts and find out they don’t carry it or more often the damned thing is discontinued and nobody told me before I bought it and then I contact you guys and the part is back ordered or it takes a week and that’s with upgraded shipping. I don’t run to Amazon because I really want to support my local shop first and horizon 2nd. If there was another company that fit the bill I would go there but there isn’t; its a monopoly. I’m ranting and I am aware the margins are tight and Amazon cheats, but you guys could and should do better.

Ordered a spectrum G 2200 G2 charger paid with Apple Pay got an email so they turned down my credit card which is impossible. Said I have five days to submit a new payment method gave me no way to do that. There’s no phone number listed to call to anybody. Tried emailing. Nobody emailed me back. Try chat no luck finally they just canceled. My order. Went back on the website now it shows they don’t take Apple Pay. Just old-school PayPal and credit card, which is fine. Apple Pay is just easier. They lost a customer and I pretty much will tell everybody.

It is impossible to get any answer to even a simple question from customer support. After waiting 20 min in the online chat queue, and getting to be first, then the COMPLETELY BROKEN system drops my call saying "there was a problem". No one ever replies to email inquiries. Or, even if the inquiry has all details needed to answer the question, you get a reponse "Hello, how can I help you" -- so you just waited a week for NOTHING. It is beyond rude that you can't get someone on the phone unless you are a platinum points customer. If you keep treating customers like this, you won't have any platinum points customers. And why did I need to make 3 inquiries (only one of which was answered after about 3 weeks? Because Horizon was too lazy to list any product info for a parts kit. No picture, no list of items in the kit, no nothing. Making work for everyone.
