Axial Crawler Purchase with Payment Platform Issues

The last couple of times I tried to use my Mastercard on your site to make a purchase, this purchase included, your payment system has given me errors saying the info was not correct and would not accept the card. I know for 100% sure that the card is valid, info was accurate, and funds were beyond available. The last time I tried buying a gift card for my father (I buy giftcards for him annually from your site) the payment was not processing just like this time, and after a very lengthy chat experience with your support team, I was basically told - oh well, you must not be putting the right card infio in... I made sure the address for shipping, billing, and card info were all completely correct, even tried adding the card info as a saved payment - nothing worked, and your system held me at checkout. This was very frustrating as I simply wanted to complete my purchase! Would be great to hear back on why this error kept popping up. It was inconvenient to have to use my wife's card instead, after several attempts with that card's info as well, until it finally went through - not a smooth checkout experience at all. Military war veteran here and IDMe said the Horizon Hobbies offers discounted to free shipping yet there was no discount. Also -batteries showed they can be delivered to Alaska yet I couldn’t add them to the order. Sent a request for someone to call me but no one ever did.

I ordered Spektrum NX8+ as a backorder, knowing it was not the discontinued NX8. The shipment was to be in August. When it came time, I was informed that my order was cancelled and I needed to order the NX8+ again under a new part number that would now not be available until November. Completely disappointed in your resolving this issue and having me delayed and queued again.

I purchased e-gift cards recently, $1000 worth. Those do not count towards the rewards program when spent. It also does not appear to show up on the program when I purchased the cards either. It seems odd that I spent $1000 and do not get rewards credit for that (at whatever tier I was at at the time of the purchase). It does not add much incentive to purchase those. The 20% discount was great ($100 free for $500 spent) but it still seems reasonable to get rewards credit for the $500.

The picture on the item that I bought, showed a picture of what was in the box. I have that snapshot. That provided an expectation. When the box showed up with only a motor, and not what was in the picture. My purchase became more of an assumption, and I had to pick up the pieces to get the heat sink, fan, and pinion gear that are actually in the picture. Please don’t be too lazy and post the proper picture. It would be fair.

Horizon has a great selection at good prices, one of my batteries did not work but being out of country it was too much hassle to return one single battery. All in all a good purchase except for the battery. Items were correct, packaged well and arrived a day early. A few items are on backorder as well.
