I am getting back into hockey for the first time in many years and wanted to find quality competition skates without spending a fortune. So, I went to hockeymonkey.com to look for clearance skates. The layout of the website is great and makes things easy to find. I found the True Hzrdus 9x and read the description and reviews and thought I may have found my new skates. They were 58% off, so a heck of a deal. I ordered them, and the ease of ordering and payment made the sale seamless. I got the skates, and the fit is amazing. I love them already and will definitely order from Hockey Monkey again.

knowing nothing about hockey myself and struggling to find all the gear for my kids to play, I REALLY appreciated the clear labels on tabs and dropdowns directing me to what I was looking for. (street hockey gear). Although more detail per item would have been helpful, like clear stick measurements, sizing etc

Hockey Monkey is great. I have been scoring great deals lately with their clearance products. Shipping costs should not be standard however and should depend on the product. I had to order $1.99 helmet clips last weekend, and had to pay $13 for standard shipping. It should not cost that much for shipping.

Good selection but the website is terrible. Purehockey is so much easier and not glitchy. Really not user friendly at all. Prices were comparable to other online sites but unless something miraculous happens I won't be using this company for my sons future gear.
