Recently purchased a tee shirt from the Hansen Surfboards website and although a correction was necessary because I selected USPS as my preferred carrier, the initial order confirmation came from UPS . I quickly contacted customer service and Lynnda apologized for the error and was able to correct it because the item hadn’t shipped yet. Overall I was satisfied with the transaction because things worked out without much hassle or delay.

While out of town, I purchased a Vissla shirt from another retailer but at the time was unable to purchase the matching shorts. For weeks I thought about those shorts but once I was able to purchase them, I could not find them online or available anywhere. That was until I found Hansen Surfboards. I was very happy with customer service. I was disappointed that there were such few choices in kid's shirts. I would find what I like and it would only be available in one size or one color. Very frustrating. We were also sent the wrong size shirt. We ordered an XL but were sent a 2XL. I called and hopefully it will be fixed soon. I appreciated my order arriving in a timely fashion and it was a nice touch that several stickers were sent as well. I ordered 14 shirts for a reunion.

The website made it challenging to find the exact product I wanted, but I found it because I knew the model and brand name and the search function worked. The was normal, not slow. I ordered two pairs of surf booties. The first was exactly what I ordered. Excellent. The second pair was the correct box, but wrong booties. I ordered round toe, size 7. The box read round toe size 7. The box contained split toe size 10. I called the shop. A human answered. Thank you for that. Nice lady on the phone. Very helpful. That was yesterday. I’m waiting to hear if they have the size and style I wanted.

I lived in Encinitas for several years, and grew up in North County so I've been a fan f Hansen's for al very long time. I love their merchandise. Even though the sweatshirt I originally ordered was not in inventory, the CS rep Linda was very kind and helped me choose another item and gave me free shipping. The shirt is perfect, beautiful and I LOVE it. I was so sad to hear that Don Hansen passed away recently and hope the store remains in business for future generations of surfers/beach people like me.
