This purchase was for my 76 year old Dad to attend and walk in my brother’s wedding, which was this past Saturday 3/21/26. He has recently lost weight and discovered that his suit was too big, so we shopped for 2 entire days trying to find a suit in his size and in dark grey. His favorite suit, which also met our budget, was a dark heather grey suit at JC Penney. He needed a 46S suit jacket and 38/29 pants, neither of which we could find in a 100 mile radius of our city. I finally went online and found the exact suit pants in his size on Amazon, and I found the suit jacket online at Haggar.com. This was Saturday, 3/14. I placed the order and paid for overnight express shipping. According to the website, the order should have processed and shipped on Monday, and we should have had it on Tuesday. When the pants arrived from Amazon, he brought them straight to the tailor in anticipation of receiving his matching jacket the next day. I called Haggar every day, starting on Monday, to make sure there was not a problem because the order had not yet shipped. No one could tell me. On Tuesday or Wednesday, a customer service rep emailed the fulfillment dept to see what the issue was. EVERYONE was aware that the wedding date was on 3/21, and that my Dad did not have a backup suit. We were desperate. I spoke with someone the next day who told me the fulfillment dept would contact us back within 24-48 hours. I told her we did not have 48 hours, and that it would be too late. She graciously offered to cancel the order for me. That is absolutely not what I needed. I asked many times to speak to a manager and/or someone in the fulfillment dept. I was told there was no one else I could talk to. I finally realized by Thursday that this suit jacket was likely not coming . Let me start by saying that I am a business owner, the groom’s sister, the bride’s maid of honor, the baker responsible for the wedding cake, intricate groom’s cake, and a macaron tower for their large wedding. On top of that, I also had committed to throwing the rehearsal dinner the night before the wedding on behalf of my parents…so when I tell you that the absolute VERY LAST THING I needed to be doing on Thursday before the wedding was panic shopping again for a suit for my Dad, it was the absolute last thing I needed to be doing. After hours of shopping, I found a suit at Belk, which he again had to take the pants to the tailor and have them expedite an alteration. So at this point, he has paid for 2 complete suits, including altered Haggar pants that he will not be able to wear and can’t return because they’ve been hemmed. After finding the suit, I received notification that my original order had canceled, and a “new” order number was generated because of an error in processing. Again, no one could tell me what happened and if there was any chance we could still get the jacket in time for the wedding. The suit jacket finally shipped and was received the Monday after the wedding. On top of the fact that it shipped late, they printed the shipping label and took an entire extra day to get the package to FedEx. This was my first and last experience ordering from Haggar. I’m so disappointed with the complete lack of concern shown to us. You guys absolutely ruined our experience, and there was no excuse for it.
