I am trying this product because the Canadian version, CAA is too expensive, and response times are poor. That being said, I was very disappointed with the lack of confirmation following my purchase of a roadside assistance plan. I expected, as is the norm, that I would receive an email confirmation immediately, and that the purchase would show up on my credit card online account . My experience with other service type products is that this happens very quickly. The fact that I did not receive a confirmation from GS or see the transaction on my CC online account lead me to believe that the transaction did not go through. After 4 or 5 hours, I made a second purchase of the same product. I did try and contact GS first, but they were closed for the holidays, which to me was also strange because it was several days before US Thanksgiving. Anyway, by the following day, I could then see on my online CC account that I had made two purchases. I did get it all sorted out eventually, but the website not sending a confirmation after a purchase is something that should be looked into.
