My most recent experience with GameFly was a bit frustrating at first, but thankfully, everything worked out in the end. I was trying to update my shipping address to receive games at my workplace, but what should have been a simple change turned into a lengthy email exchange with customer support. GameFly told me my address was too long for their shipping system because they only allow 32 characters and don't offer a second address line. Since I work at a university, I needed to include specific building, floor, and office information to ensure my deliveries would reach me. I tried explaining this several times, but customer support kept suggesting that I shorten my address or contact USPS. At one point, they even assumed I lived in a dorm, which made me feel like they weren't really reading my explanations. On the positive side, their support team was polite and responded relatively quickly. However, their email responses felt generic and didn't offer any practical solutions. I was also disappointed that my membership was put on hold over an address formatting issue. Fortunately, I eventually contacted GameFly by phone, and the issue was resolved. It was a relief to finally speak with someone who could help me sort everything out. I just wish that level of assistance had been available through email from the beginning. Overall, I still think GameFly offers a great concept, especially for people who enjoy renting physical games without having to purchase them. I would recommend the service, but with some reservations about their customer support and shipping system. My biggest takeaway is that if you run into an issue, calling them might be much more effective than going back and forth over email. I'm glad everything was resolved, but the whole process could have been much smoother.

The game was defective. I’m trying to return it, I was told a prepaid envelope would be sent to me. I was also told the game must be received by GameFly within 30 days of order date. I requested the return envelope the day the game was delivered. I didn’t receive the envelope until 1 day prior to my 30-day window being up. The day before I received the return envelope, I shipped the game back myself at a cost of $10 (padded envelope plus shipping with tracking). Prior to me doing this, I had to email support a few times asking for update on the return envelope. I then called. I was not happy with the support desk having to stick to the prescribed 30-day return window when I was provided a defective product. More should have been done to ensure the defective product was returned and I got a full refund. At the end of the day, my first time using GameFly cost me $10 and nothing to show for it. It’s tough for me to think about using their service again.

Video game case was delivered on time. I was worried it could take longer because of the website talking about delivery delays for everyone, but it still arrived with the case and manual. Would recommend to a friend because of the used prices.

GameFly has been great, although I’m not currently a subscriber their used game sales are always solid. And their customer service is great, especially agreeing to match a sale price on a game purchased a few days earlier.

I have been looking for this edition everywhere, it has either been sold out or they never got the edition in. I managed to get an order in at Target who then proceeded to push my shipping date four times before cancelling my order under erroneous reasons. Thank you so much for having this!
