Had trouble just buying the pre-order, had to buy a membership to complete it. Then my first checkout would not go through, so I had to do a 2nd attempt.

The bad thing i would have to say is the lack of physical discs that you have. Often i find (even when the there's a gamelock) i'm waitng for a selection to be filled. this shouldn't be in my opinion considering how long i've been a customer of Gamefly

I think it's a convenient thing to pay to keep your rentals, it also means even if a game is hard to find, if Gamefly has it then it doesn't matter

I was sent an email about a game I self-returned. Because GameFly didn’t receive it in a 10-14 day period, I was threatened with I would have to pay for it since they hadn’t received it yet. I sent an email in that I have no control of what the post office does. I shouldn’t be held responsible for it. I have been a customer since 2012 I was going to cancel my subscription if this is how long time customers are treated. This is the first time this is ever happened. Customer service responded and said I would not be held accountable for it being lost in the mail. I received an email from GameFly about 4 days later saying they had received it an all was good. I would still recommend GameFly to my friends and family.

I have not had an opportunity to put the game into my console yet and play it (and likely won't for 2 months or so) which is why I bought it (instead of renting), but the disc appears to be in great shape.

GameFly's keep at home sales are usually not worth it, same as brand new prices. But this time it was actually worth it and it was half off. Though i must say the shipping was so slow

I just wish there was a search bar for searching inventory right on the main landing page, or if it’s there, then I wish was more apparent. I get confused about having to click into specifically the video game subsection before the search option appears. Also, Apple Pay would be nice.

I have been making a return to physical media and was shocked to find that gamefly was still around. I used this service years ago back when it was Netflix for games. It is just as solid of a company now as it was 13 years ago. They have streamlined the site massively over the intervening years and I am very pleased with the service and will neve continuing to use it. Gamefly is more vital now than it was previously as trying out a game before you commit to purchasing matter more when you are dropping $70 as opposed to 35 -40.

Love the idea, in an era where trying out games and ending up only playing them once is pretty expensive now. This is a great middle ground and the constant deals make me want to stay and actually buy the games I like from y'all.

My most recent experience with GameFly was a bit frustrating at first, but thankfully, everything worked out in the end. I was trying to update my shipping address to receive games at my workplace, but what should have been a simple change turned into a lengthy email exchange with customer support. GameFly told me my address was too long for their shipping system because they only allow 32 characters and don't offer a second address line. Since I work at a university, I needed to include specific building, floor, and office information to ensure my deliveries would reach me. I tried explaining this several times, but customer support kept suggesting that I shorten my address or contact USPS. At one point, they even assumed I lived in a dorm, which made me feel like they weren't really reading my explanations. On the positive side, their support team was polite and responded relatively quickly. However, their email responses felt generic and didn't offer any practical solutions. I was also disappointed that my membership was put on hold over an address formatting issue. Fortunately, I eventually contacted GameFly by phone, and the issue was resolved. It was a relief to finally speak with someone who could help me sort everything out. I just wish that level of assistance had been available through email from the beginning. Overall, I still think GameFly offers a great concept, especially for people who enjoy renting physical games without having to purchase them. I would recommend the service, but with some reservations about their customer support and shipping system. My biggest takeaway is that if you run into an issue, calling them might be much more effective than going back and forth over email. I'm glad everything was resolved, but the whole process could have been much smoother.
