Simple, solid website

Easy shopping experience! Nice selection at good prices, as well. One small thing; it would be nice if there were a standard set of specifications for every pen. For instance, one pen description said that it took cartridges, but not the type of cartridge, such as proprietary or standard. If every pen had the same table of product data, it would be easier to compare them. It's nice to be able to support a local DC business, even when I don't have time to get to their downtown location.

I want to order from Fahrney’s, but they don’t seem to carry the more popular fountain pens that I’m interested in. Their ink selection is very limited, and I’m not aware of any discounts or incentive programs.

Website somewhat frustrating to manuver. It hopes around and shows too many ads. Also adds add to small balloon msg of thing I just ordered making the assumption it needs to be hit then adds an addt’l item to one of the items already on the cart list.probably wasted 5-10minfrlrating those extra products. Also it’s really not any of your business how old I am, my income, how many kids and their ages,’my gender, etc. I realize it’s a way to use as a marketing tool but I do not wish to be included I that. I intend to buy what I buy regardless of being a divorce, widow, a mi or child, in prison, black, yellow or green!! And what if any decides if the info is true or correct or pulled from someone else’s info? Ok you asked, I delivered!

The overall quality and affordability of the line of products are most desirable. The selection is very appealing and interesting. I believe I am given access to writing instruments that I might not find elsewhere. It's a fun site to visit!

I bought refills for a Shaeffer pen I bought at Fahrney's. The website was not specific enough about the specific refill needed. The one I purchased does not fit the pen.

It is always a good experience. I had also called them about a fountain pen nib repair and they gave me the name of someone. They always tell me about a pen I am ready to buy and maybe a comparable that's better. I like them very much. They don't carry alll the small accessories that they used to but that's ok

I ordered blue ink. Box indicated it was blue ink. BLACK ink is what comes out of my nib.

After my in-person experience at Fahrney's Pens in July, I was sure to revisit the website to make my next purchase. It was very easy to navigate the site and visually appealing. I did find the shipping to be a bit pricey, but understandable for cross-country shipping. Hello from California!

I liked the ability to examine the pen's detail and description. I don't remember seeing shipping options, but since this is a gift for an advance date, no problem. You should offer the purchase of additional pen refills when offering the specific pen. Thanks--I've loved your store for decades and hope to someday visit your new store!

When I called the customer support number, Verizon said it was not in service. When I tried to send an email, it did not go through. The new web site sucks. When I tried to order stationery, that portion of the web site was non-functional. I tried the same thing about a month ago with the same result. The old web site was much better. I wanted to send the send the pen to a different address but there was no option for this choice. I love Fahrneys but I am very disappointed with the new web site. I love the products.

Fahrney’s aervice was, as always, impeccable. The only problem i have encountered is the pen itself. Its appearance is as lovely as expected, but the ball point pen skips when I write with it. I am hoping that it imptoves over time with more use.
