I was confused due to a newer computer as to what my log-in might be. I have used 2 email addresses over a decade. I have been receiving promotional email on the newer email. I no longer could find a saved password in my "safe" password storage. The operator who took my call was new. I know this from the two of us not clearly understanding each other. Finally at one point that another customer service employee began coaching her when I had to ask a question multiple times to understand what her instructions might be. She did find my original email register which I appreciated. She tried to give me a temporaty password. Although she does not have an accent, I could NOT clearly understand what letter she was saying. I had to ask multiple times for clarifcation and started saying words back to her so I learned that the first letter was P as in password. It was tense because she was frustrated with me. I communicate with dozens on new clients and service people weekly. I also worked as a retail store manager for decades. Patience and tone of voice have served me well. This "operator" was both inept - not clearly understanding the details and purpose of my call. I truly wanted to restock my Estee Lauder products but my frustration is obviously still an issue or I would not be relating this experience.
