I was looking for a makeup advent calendar for my 7 year old. Other options were very cheap questionable makeup from Amazon. The advent was double my budget. But, her brother is receiving a hotwheels advent so I wanted her to feel like it was the same idea. As an adult I LOVE the full sized products. But I would prefer little minis for younger ages. I’m a makeup artist, so I prefer to buy from brands I know are better quality and are safer for my kids. I called local stores but they didn’t have anything in stock. So that’s why I’m ordering online today.

I purchased the E.L.F advent calendar and I’m so far happy with my purchase, especially the freebies, both full size and mini size that I received with my order! I’m super excited to start opening the advent calendar on December 1! However, until then I can’t quite judge the quality of my purchase. I was happily surprised to find that the advent calendar was still available after noticing that many other similar advent calendars on the market were sold out! I found the website easy to navigate, and my ordering experience went smoothly. I had a little bit of difficulty tracking the package as I found. The updates weren’t always accurate. However, my items arrived on time so I was still completely satisfied with the shipping. I will definitely be purchasing elf products again! 💗💗💗

I order specifically because it was buy 2 lip gloss get one free. My free item never came and they didn’t send anything to replace what should have been my free item. They had no solution for me besides they’d give me $5 for a product that was $12 and wouldn’t ship to me when product was in stock. I don’t be buying elf products again. The customer service was horrible

I have been trying for over 2 weeks to make a purchase online and it seems I can't if I try to use any of my points, nor could I add my birthday gift (my actual birthday ways yesterday, and the site would not allow me to make the purchase along with the birthday gift on that date either).

The website is extremely slow, and glitches a lot. I lost my content. It took me over an hour to put my order in today. I already knew what I wanted, but the processing of the website took an hour. in total probably I waited over 30 minutes, during the one hour process of ordering. so 30 minutes of ordering, and looking at the products, and 30 minutes of waiting while the product was loading, or the website kicked me off and I had to start over again. This should absolutely be fixed, because this is the fourth time I’ve tried to use the website. The other times it either kicked me off, or I got frustrated with the wait times and left.

This is not the first time it happened to me. Canadian elf site keeps freezing/crashing so almost everytime, I have to keep coming back and reapply all rewards. Today when I was trying to apply the surprise reward drop ($10), the pop up said it was added to my bag but it didn't. Moreover, one of the rewards applied from my points (towards an order that did not get completed from my end) was deducted but not used by me. I also did not get the option to choose a free full size product (as per promotional email) and ended up getting 2 minis for spending $35+

I made a large online purchase (advent calendar along with several individual items). I also had an email saying I could redeem for a birthday gift. When I made my purchase, I was not able to successfully add the birthday gift to my order. I placed the order then immediately sent an email with the order asking if the gift could be added to my order on their end since there was an issue with the online redemption. It took seven emails to get an unsatisfactory resolution. The final outcome was that I should place yet another order, add the two items that comprise the birthday gift, pay for the birthday items, wait for the order to arrive and then request a refund for the items. To me, this isn’t a reasonable solution especially considering the amount of emails it took for my initial issue to be understood. I included screenshots of the birthday email, yet the customer service rep replied by asking what the gift was. This is nonsensical. I could understand if they were not able to add the gift to my existing order, but to engage over several emails and then request that I purchase it and apply for a refund is ridiculous.

I just had one of the most frustrating online shopping experiences with this site. I set my location to Canada, the page clearly showed https://www.elfcosmetics.com/en_CA , prices were displayed in Canadian dollars, and the Canadian flag appeared in the corner, everything indicated I was on the correct site for Canadian shoppers. As a new Beauty Squad member, I was offered two discounts: free shipping and $10 off. Both showed up in my basket with no issue. But when I went to checkout, the free shipping discount suddenly disappeared without explanation. Annoying, but I continued because the $10 discount still appeared. Then it got worse: after I paid, my email confirmation showed that the $10 discount had also been removed. No notice, no explanation - just gone. Being shown two discounts, having them confirmed in my cart, and then losing both during and after checkout is incredibly misleading. Honestly, this was the worst online ordering experience I’ve had in years. This was my first order with e.l.f ever and most likely my last. I hope the company addresses this, because it really damages trust.
