I asked about replacing an item and I got a response saying to do a refund. No links to the website which would be nice.
The refund instructions in the email for the return have html code in them which isn't working. In other words I see things like <br> and <strong> which means the email was poorly formatted and not user friendly for copying and pasting the shipping address.
People don't like reading one huge paragraph of text, with the info that's needed buried at the end of it. Clearly you have had issues with returns in the past and people sending back partially used items as the email goes on and on about how the items should look when returned.
After just making a purchase for the item I need, it said something like I can earn up to $100 for this survey. Not sure the wording exactly, but it's completely unclear what I get for taking this survey. Will I be getting a discount code, be entered in a drawing, what are the odds of winning? I imagine I'll be getting nothing, but hopefully I can at least let you know what you're doing wrong so you can fix it.
Oh, now I see that I get a discount for magazines. So when you say I can earn up to $100, it means I can earn a discount on magazines. Because that's really what I'm interested in, something I didn't come to your website for or buy. Oh, and I'd have to take more surveys in order to get a discount! That's hilarious.
I think that's really deceptive and a good way to lose trust with customers. Thanks for giving me the opportunity to take more surveys so I can get a discount on magazines likely after making a purchase with them.
