Multiple bare roots of the same plant were inconsistent. Dahlia tubers were extremely dried out. (And yes I know they just came out of hibernation) Many failed to grow. Probably could have gotten same product cheaper somewhere else but cheaper. I have always respected the Van Bourgondien name from my experience working as a production supervisor in a major greenhouse growing facility. The quality just isn't the same.

Iris roots arrived much later than estimated at time of order. they were desiccated. i planted all 6, and after 4 weeks, one plant has a single stem emerging. Very disappointed.

Second bad experience with KVB this year. They offered me a $20 credit to keep me as a customer. I ordered two items that they advertised as in stock and on sale. I ordered them on May 26th, one item showed up on June 12th. >>> Your item was delivered to a parcel locker at 9:50 am on June 12, 2026 >>> No update as to why it was late, or that a partial shipment was made. In addition the rhizomes are dried out and withered. NO quality control on their end. I'm in the process of getting a total refund.

The white prosperity gladiolas were moldy and some felt squishy / rotted but I planted them anyway hoping for the best. The other 2 varieties I planted looked totally good. I bought the bulbs at 50% off but I still expected to receive bulbs as if I’d spent 100%.

This was a late season purchase, so delivery timeliness was important. Seemed to take a very long time for the nursery to even get the product to FedEx, which was followed by another long delay until I received the order. (Your review request arrived before my order.) Compared to other mail order options today, this was VERY SLOW. Not good for live product.

The crocosmia bulbs I received is good size for its price. K. Van Bourgondien has more variety than other places that I check. If I need more in the future I would definitely order from K. Van Bourgondien again. I hope every bulbs will sprout. Since it's so late for me planting, I don't think I will see any blooms this year but looking forward to see lots of blooms next year. The packaging is very good, individually package with name labels. I an exited and can't wait to see some blooms.

I was beyond impressed with the gladiolus bulbs I received. The bulbs were big, clean, and blemish free. They came in immaculate condition. I'd ordered bulbs from other companies and they were smaller and full of imperfections but not these. I felt like I received the BEST QUALITY BULBS available on the market. The quality of bulbs and bare roots was very good. Packing is great + the instructions provided. Almost 90-95% of everything I planted has bloomed and some on the way. I would absolutely recommend K.van!! I would not say anything bad about the whole process, except the shipping cost feels kind of steep sometimes if its a small order. Also, if you could could combine certain plants ( example- Hibiscus- I dont have room for 3 plants but I could buy one but that option is not there). Overall, I would not stop myself from buying from K.van again. Your products are definitely worth the money.

To me, I consider your rate of delivery needs improvement. Once I place an order, it should be in transit within 2-3 days. I ordered 25 dahlias. Several of them were very small and five didn't have a starter bud. I'm not sure that they will produce a plant.

While I like the variety and the wholesale pricing and packaging, my orders have been inconsistent.
