I recently purchased the Cicapair™ Sensitive Skin Serum for redness and barrier repair and wanted to share my experience with the product.
I chose this serum with the hope that it would help reduce the appearance of broken capillaries on my face and improve overall skin dullness. I understand that product efficacy can vary from person to person, but I wanted to ask whether my experience is typical or expected with this formulation.
Currently, I have incorporated the serum into my Korean skincare routine by applying it between my Ceramidin moisturizer and sunscreen. The sunscreen I use is a tinted mineral formula containing zinc oxide and titanium dioxide.
The issue I am encountering is that immediately after applying the Cicapair serum, my skin feels dry and the product begins to pill. In the areas where this occurs, my skin also appears chalky and white.
Before I consider discontinuing use, I wanted to ask:
Is this type of reaction common with this serum?
Could this be related to how I am layering or applying the product?
Are there any recommended application techniques (e.g., amount, timing between layers, or order of products) that might improve performance?
If this product may not be the best fit for my skin, could you recommend an alternative that targets redness and supports the skin barrier?
I generally prefer not to return products, as I find the process inconvenient, so I am very open to trying adjustments in technique or routine if that may help.
Thank you in advance for your guidance. I appreciate any recommendations you can provide.
