I am purchasing for my granddaughter who has just started riding. Dover has always been my go to shop for my equestrian needs. The customer Service in the Huntington LI store was first rate. On line shopping is difficult to decide On the right size especially for half chaps and tall field boots. Please stay open!!!!

I went to the store in Raleigh, NC because I heard the store was closing. Employees there told me the whole store is going out of business. I purchased some things that I could try on there. On the website, I purchased other things that were a known quantity and some that weren't. I'll sell the 2 prs of gloves I ordered. I loved the wool jacket and shirt. Currently, Dover doesn't take returns and I'm not sure why questions regarding this was on this survey. I won't order again because Dover won't exist. Most things offered now are out of my and my horse's size. It's really disapppointing that Dover is closing.

I saw there was a good sale and found and purchased great products from a great horse supply store. I then heard Dover Saddlery was going out of business and this truly breaks my heart, I will struggle to find another great equine supply store equal to Dover Saddlery :(

I love some of the products of Dover but I wish there was more variety for us eventers! Where I live has no tack stores within a 50 minute radius so we usually order online.

The website was overall easy to navigate! It has multiple categories and subsections that whatever you need is right there. The only problem I had was that some items didn’t have photos, that wouldn’t completely load or the lack of photos. Overall I didn’t have a bad experience!

I ordered tights that were on sale and in the size I always wear. They were much smaller than typical. I contacted customer service but they did not help and honestly were rude. They would not exchange for a different size and said Dover was going out of business.

I’m buying for myself using with my parents approval, the website design is quite nice but the loading on my end is quite slow. The filter and sort button is not as helpful as I would hope. The selection is quite nice but the sizing isn’t very inclusive and the descriptions are somewhat vague. I feel that it may be a little hard for beginners or those who aren’t familiar with all the terms and different products.

Don’t purchase anything you might need to return. Apparently they are going out of business, which they do not advertise. They only advertised that they were having a warehouse sale. After the fact I learned I could not exchange my boots for another size. Nowhere on my order did it say final sale. If I had know this, I wouldn’t have purchased to begin with. They are being very deceptive with what is a closing sale and apparently everything is a final sale! So disappointed ina company we had historically loved.

My riding instructor told me that there was a sale on at Dover Saddle and to buy same cool shirts for riding, so I did! I bought two shirts and a nice raincoat. I'm pleased with all, for they are well made and of high quality. Plus, they arrived quickly. I will gladly order again for any and all of my horseback riding needs!

The website is simple to use I have bought online 5 different times within the last 30 days. From tall boots, breaches, and today show gloves. I wish there was more of a selection for men’s breeches that are not so tight or form fitting. Sad to hear Dover is closing. I go to my local store to try on helmets & buy the one online if the store doesn’t have it so I know my size. Overall happy with dover sad to see them be going soon.

I a number of products. All but one worked out. When I went to return, I was not able to. Company is liquidating but the ONLY notice given was on the home page in small header. No where else did it mention All Sales Final. If you are denying all returns, it should be noted on every page with every item and for sure in the cart. I would never have ordered multiple, expensive items if I wasn't able to return the one that didn't fit. Very deceptive and disappointed.

My experience with Dover Saddlery was overall positive. They have a great selection of products and the ordering process was easy. The main downside was the return process. I wish there were free returns by mail, as that would be much more convenient for customers who do not live near a store location. Because of that, returns can be a bit of a hassle. I would still recommend Dover Saddlery for their product selection and service, but improving the mail return policy would make the experience even better.

I don’t know why on earth I would be asked to complete a survey for a company that is liquidating all of its inventory and seemingly is going out of business. All sales are final. There’s nothing anyone at THE Company can do to help customers who are looking to exchange. That’s a full move asking to complete a survey. What a shame to lose Dover.

I called about a product tild the sales lady that I wanted to come in Monday and see the vest . I asked her 3 tiens to go over the price with me because in the past people say one price and then I get there and they change it. She quoted the say price 3 times. 407.55 . Monday comes im heading into town to buy the vest I call first to confirm and a totally different price was quoted I was not happy they put the girl on the phone who told me the price the day before and she said she didnt understand but it now was 695 .00 and there was nothing she could do about it.Again Im not happy I had verified this 3 times .so then I said I see it on you website for cheaper than what the in store price is. She says yes she could order it for me with free shipping. I told her I didnt need her for that.. I was going to buy a used vest for 300 and I sent it back because this women in the Charlottesville va store told me 407.55. And then to be quoted a much larger price! .I have and will continue to tell people not to shop there.
