I wasn't really sure which bookshelf speakers would be best for me. I chatted online with a Crutchfield adviser to describe the types of music I listened to, the rest of the components in my system, and the listening room. Also I indicated the budget I had in mind. My goal was to get speakers that would be a significant improvement over the ones I had without breaking the bank. Crutchfield adviser Jenny took these things into consideration and made a single recommendation. We discussed pro's and cons and other speakers. She also sent me an email with a ready made shopping cart. After this I sought out professional audio reviews of the recommended speakers and alternatives. (I tried the comparison tool on Crutchfield but it did not work for me.) Finally, I went to some local audio stores to see what they had in my price range. One of them immediately tried to move me to a higher price range. But to be fair I was able to listen to several sets of speakers with my music, including the ones recommended by Crutchfield. This helped confirm that the speakers would indeed be a big improvement. I went back to the email and ordered them using the ready made shopping cart. They were delivered quickly. I set them up and have been enjoying them from day 1. Everything sounds great! I was listening to a local classical station and working on my computer. The announcer started speaking and it was like he was in the room with me. I actually turned my head to see if he was.

I was looking to get a better radio/backup display for my 2013 Prius C. Crutchfield came highly recommended and I was able to find a unit that matched my needs. However, the wording of some of the additional packages were confusing, but I believe I selected what I ended up needing. I suppose I will find out

good advertising about products and when they are open box or crash and dent, you show whats in the box and as always new product and tech support and instructions and returns good company and prestigious i benn a costumer from more than 30 years. remember when you sent catalogues in the mail in the 80"s and 90"s . keep the good work and congratulations!! you are in front of lots of companys!!

It's "easy" to find items (stereos or speakers) that fit your vehicle, but the choices are nearly overwhelming. Speaking to an advisor helped me to narrow down which item to a very short list, which made the process manageable. I learned things I had no idea about and are not directly stated on the website (such as: which brands are owned by the same company, so the speakers are very similar). I recommend a phone call with a human if you are not certain of which product you want to get - multiple calls across two purchases have all been helpful.
