Update your Master Sheets and double check. For my 2000 Honda Civic Coupe I have factory tweeters. Also if applicable update the factory radio pin layout for Metra. Terminal layout facing the radio, left to right, top 1-10 then 11-20 bottom: Terminals 1, 3, 4, 11, 12, 13, and 14 are not used, Pin 2, yel/red, ACC (radio main power supply) Pin 5, red/yel, right rear speaker positive Pin 6, blu/yel, left rear speaker positive Pin 7, red/grn, right front door speaker positive, right tweeter positive Pin 8, blu, left front door speaker, left tweeter positive Pin 9, red/blk, lights on signal Pin 10, wht/blu, constant power (tuning memory) Pin 15, brn/wht, right rear speaker negative Pin 16, gry/wht, left rear speaker negative Pin 17, brn/blk, right front door speaker negative, right tweeter negative Pin 18, gry/blk, left front door speaker negative, left tweeter negative Pin 19, red, dash lights brightness controller Pin 20, blk, ground (G501)

I order a Furman power conditioner PFi 15, the one without the volt meter but with the orange outlets and real power factor correction and backup. It’s built like a tank and has performed flawlessly. The only thing I did was buy a 10 foot 12awg Daddario power cable as I needed to connect it to outlet on a seperate circuit for better power stability. As for Crutchfield, I’ve been a “member” for as long as I can remember and have used them as a valuable and trusted resource for products and info for just about everything. However, this was the first purchase I’ve made from them in forever, in fact maybe ever. The experience was all positive. The power conditioner is on the heavier side and arrived undamaged and on time. In fact, I could have received it earlier but Crutchfield offered a $20 discount for delaying the shipping!!! This is on top of them having the best price anywhere in the past 2 years!

The original ad had said free shipping, I ordered two things and then get to pay and the only options I have for shipping is 1 day for $45 and 2 day $10, I didn't really need it in two days, I was excited for free shipping, in the end I feel like I was bait and switched.

I would recommend that anyone wanting to upgrade their car audio gear needs to use Crutchfield, they make the product search and ordering process so painless. They show you products that can be installed in your specific car, and they include Crutchfield ratings as well as customer ratings that are very helpful. They provide any special brackets, wiring connectors etc that you will need, and they provide instructions that are always extremely helpful.

Seems like too many speakers have the highest ratings which makes it difficult to find the best available match and value for the money. Entry level speakers ought to say that. Also if CF recommends a speaker to match a head unit, they should suppress the warning about impedance and not working with the unit. I had to wait a day to get a warm body on the phone to answer the question. The website should not list live agents when CF is closed, leads to frustration. Good selection, fair price, plug and play radio option as well as the free speaker harness is what kept me here. Surprised takes two days to ship?!
