Waited until the return period was up before commenting. The A/V receiver is fantastic. Replaced an ancient Onkyo model that did not have any of the modern inputs, so now we have all the new equipment being handled through 9 speaker channels - and it rocks. Make sure to download the PDF manual, only a quick sheet comes with the unit. The DIRAC info is lacking and presumes you are an AV install expert. TIP - you have to have your smartphone and your receiver on the SAME wif-fi at the same time for DIRAC to connect. Not Bluetooth, and not just "internet" - has to be the same wi-fi. The sound field that DIRAC wants to measure is a cube in space around your head at your listening position, not various spaces around the room. Made this mistake got audio too high and audio too low errors and had to restart. Took at least 10 times to get it right with doing the full 9 positions as opposed to the 3 position shortcut method. Also, tell your family what you are doing so they don't run in asking "what is that noise" when the sampling tones ramp up. That alone caused a couple of retests. AV receiver has been easy to use once set up - use bullet connectors. There are so many connections on the back that trying to screw in wire ends is a tough ask for large fingers. Plugging in the bullets is a much better way to go. When you make your order the system asks if want bullet connects - make sure you get enough for your number of speakers (you need two per speaker for + and -) unlike me and had to place a second order. Unit was delivered two days late, not because of Crutchfield, they got it shipped on time and notice was provided via email. Delay was due to USPS, but I was not in a hurry and took the least expensive shipping method. No ding on the stars for that. 100% satisfied and the sales explanation videos really helped in making my purchase decision.
