Bought this radio to replace my last one I got from Crutchfield which constantly skipped. I had contacted support and they suggested I check for shorts, I replaced my entire speaker system and the problem continued. Crutchfield then told me to talk to Maestro because it was likely the RR2 module, the folks at Maestro said this sounds like a radio issue not them. So after being sent for a loop, I decided to deal with my 800$ lemon for 2 years before now finally being able to afford a new head unit after shattering the screen in anger from it not working as intended. Upon taking apart my old radio, I found YOUR READY HARNESS was actually most likely the issue since the copper was half pulled out on several lines, even ones they didn't ask me to test for shorts originally... I refuse to pay for your "quality assured" ready harnesses again and just snipped the old one out 1 at a time to color match to the new radio while making sure to replace EVERY SINGLE connection you made. Anyway, new radio is now in and seems to be working fine, no skipping yet. Besides my previous issues with my Sony head unit, this time I had a pretty alright time with this one and I'm currently happy with it...unless the skipping starts up again...
