I recently picked up this Coleman collapsible cooler and honestly, it’s one of those purchases that just makes life easier.
The biggest thing that sold me is how it actually collapses down when you’re not using it. It folds to about half (or even smaller) of its size, so I can just stash it in my trunk or closet without it taking up a ton of space. That alone makes it way more practical than a regular bulky cooler.
But when you open it up, it feels like a legit hard cooler—not flimsy at all. It’s surprisingly sturdy and holds its shape really well, even when it’s packed full. It can hold a lot too (around 60+ cans), which is perfect for beach days, BBQs, or just loading up groceries.
What I didn’t expect is how easy it is to use. It literally takes like 10 seconds to pop open or collapse, so there’s no hassle at all.
It also keeps things cold way longer than I thought—it’s got solid insulation and can keep ice for about a couple of days, which is more than enough for most trips.
Another feature I really like is the removable liner inside. It’s waterproof and super easy to take out and clean, so you don’t have to deal with that gross cooler smell after a while.
Overall, it’s kind of the best of both worlds—you get the durability of a hard cooler, but the convenience and storage of a soft one. I’ve already used it for random last-minute plans, beach trips, and even just keeping groceries cold, and it’s been super reliable.
If you’re on the fence, I’d definitely recommend it. It’s one of those things you don’t realize you needed until you actually have it.
