I was not able to apply my birthday reward, it kept rejecting the code as 'value' didn't apply eventhough it was close to 100$ without discount. Instead a different discount % reward was used as it was not clear why the HAPPYBDAY code did not work

I qualified for the free birthday gift however it was not a product I would normally purchase. It was ‘Dramatically Different Lotion’ but I regularly use ‘Dramatically Different Gel’ format. Unfortunately there was no way to make a choice between the two product formats so I’ll have to give it to someone else. Disappointing for sure, since I regularly use Clinique products and have for several years.
