Post-Delivery FeedbackSep 30, 2026
I have been a fan of the bumble and bumble products for years. They had a really great discount as well as an additional promotion so I couldn't pass it up.
Well, it turned out that they were out of one of the promotional items. When I reached out to Customer Service, they weren't able to resolve it at that time and provided me a Case # and told me that I would hear from someone with a specific amount of time. I ended up having to reach out again over a week later, only to have that person tell me immediately that I wouldn't be receiving this promotional item. (Note: I don't think that this is captured on the "Thank you for placing your order at Bumble and bumble Online" email.)
That was one of the reasons why I choose to place my order and when I mentioned that if I received this, I wouldn't return my order. I was told at that time that promotional items are limited and could run out of stock. (I don't recall ever placing an order on a website and not receiving the promotional or an equivalent item before.)
I think that I might have been able to accept that more easily if I hadn't already spent my time reaching out to Customer Service initially and getting a Case # since they weren't able to resolve it at that time. I also had an expectation that I would hear something from someone based on this chat and later had to follow up once again.
Also, on an unrelated note, I just remembered this. I received a "Your Bumble and bumble Online order #xxx has been cancelled," only to receive a "Your Bumble and bumble Online Order #123 has shipped" four hours later. (At first blush, I thought it might be because that one item wasn't available so the order had to be re-processed. If that's not the case, then there's an issue with regards to their site.)
I will say that the customer service was pretty good. When I contacted them initially, it sounded like maybe bumble and bumble doesn't give them enough training with regards to this specific example or enough empowerment to be able to resolve it by having them create a Case #. The last person that I chatted with really did try to help resolve this issue but, unfortunately, after so much time had passed, I just wanted to return everything.
