In received my purchases very quickly. They ate just what I expected. I failed to include the free shipping code before completing my purchase and realized this soon after. i find this website super easy to navigate, i think all of the items are of good quality and they all compliment each other very well. however, i do find this website to be a little expensive. i could find a lot of items very similar to these on another website for a much more acceptable price. a lot of the items i was interested in today were out of stock for another month or two which was upsetting.

The price in your printed catalog is your retail price. How can you say this is a "Sale Price" online? That doesn't seem like an honest statement. If you give me a discount off the catalog price, it is a discount.

I was so happy to find the black bear eating gnomes was still available!! I bought one 2-3 years ago and it has stood happily in my front planter. Unfortunately, when we got our trees trimmed, a limb fell on it and broke him. :( Looking at the bear always makes me smile; it is so different! I love people's double-take when they realize that the bear isn't playing with the gnomes!! hahaha So, thank you for still carrying the bear and for getting him here a couple days before I expected it to get here!!

I like the fishing reel toilet paper holder, except that I cannot mount it on a wall. It uses what is called a "keyhold" mount and my local hardware store does not have any, so I cannot mount it.

For $129, I expected some weight to the product and for the lampshade to be more substantial than a glorified piece of paper. This lamp weighed virtually nothing and could easily be toppled over. For the price, I was really shocked at how the quality did not reflect how much I paid. Very disappointed. I love the design and that's why I splurged for the item, but when I received it and it weighed nothing and the lampshade was so subpar...(esp the lampshade!) I would be wary of ordering from this company again.

Black Forest is mostly high quality and their service is great. Easy to order online and all items have arrived well packaged and protected. However, I was somewhat disappointed in the Wildlife footprint wooden plaque I purchased recently. On the back where those long cutouts that are supposed to be used for hanging. I had a horrible time trying to hang that long and heavy plaque while trying to line those holes up with the nails. I was finally able to get two out of the three to somewhat work, and I had to use some innovation to keep it from moving. It should not be that difficult to hang. I was so frustrated that I almost returned it. What happened to just adding a sawtooth small hanger on the back? It made me not want to ever order a wall hanging-a picture, plaque, etc. from Black Forest again if it is going to entail so much time and effort just to hang it up.

I have been shopping at Black Forest for years. The quality is second to none, although a little expensive. However, I have learned that quality, user friendly online, experience, and a good selection is worth it. I love the fact that you see very, very few items sold out and I have NEVER been disappointed in anything I have ordered from BFD! And that's close to 30 years, BFD is rustic to perfection! Rustic says home. It says cozy, And that is what BFD delivers...quality, home, cozy!

I really liked the Vintage Lantern Table Lamp, but the shade was crushed on one side in shipping, I assume, and the shade holder has a misshapen hole drilled so that it won’t screw on correctly.
