I bought this simply as a light weight pocket point and shoot camera which it does just fine. It's me that has to get used to using something so small and light, many of the first pictures were blurred and fuzzy because I'm used to my DSLR which shoots and refreshes quickly. It takes 2-3 seconds to process between shots so just take note of that. The zoom works well, no complaints with the quality of the pictures once I learned that I must steady the tiny thing better when taking a shot. At 4oz it disappears in my hands, but I gave the camera to a friend to shot some with it and those came out just fine too. The biggest thing I had to learn was to steady the shot, and wait for a two count before taking the next shot, then they came out just fine. Not much of a manual in the box, basically a quick start guide but it won't difficult to figure out and learn. There's a lot of options in the menus and I'm sure if you looked online you could find something more comprehensive to show you all the features etc. I think it's a perfect casual point and shoot camera. There's too few of these on the market these days, everyone uses a phone and I personally hate taking pictures with a phone. I always would rather use either my Pentax or Canon DSLR instead. But for something I can stick in my pants pocket and go this little thing is great!!
