good. to restart an earlier complaint on a $10,000.00 order that included a camera body and two "L" series Canon lens, almost all of the protective padding placed in the box was on the top; simply filler for the empty space in the box. i would have live and hoped that all orders- certainly a high dollar or such as $10,000.00 - the shipping department would have place at least one layer of bubble wrap on the bottom and on the sides of the order as well. Surely you have seen how both Fedex and UPS treat packages; particurly at this time of year. A layer of the large plastic bubble wrap around the insides of the carton and on the bottom would not only protect lens from jarring around during travel, but on the case of the bottom layer, it would protect against moisture and rain. I have seen first-hand on many occasions how wet carboard cartons can get on loading docks, or at vans and trucks as drivers unload deliveries onto hand trucks; and i have also seen the damage to the merchandise inside those wet boxes. i have always found your staff (both online in chats and on the phone to be friendly, professional and knowledgeable. if i were ever to cease shopping at B & H Photo, the reason would be the packaging of shipped good. i emailed a version of this suggestion/criticism to you a few weeks ago but never received the promised reply. i really think overseeing or training the shipping staff could make a big difference. end of suggestion and sermon.
