I have been an Avon Ambassador since 1980, when I an employee at City College. It has always been easy to sell Avon especially when they started selling clothing and jewelry. I would wear it and people would buy it.

It didn't seem to have much of a selection like the brochures used to have. I could've been looking at the wrong pages but it seemed like Avon had much more to offer when there were sales representatives that left gorgeous campaign catalogs and free samples. It's been over 20 years since I've bought anything from Avon. They have the best quality products for the price.

I have purchased Avon products for years, in fact my sister used to be my sales person. However all the changes recently have made her quit, especially the reduced commissions, and horrible return policy.. Reduced lines, discontinuance of top selling items has reduced 90% of what I bought from AVON. Thats too bad. I always wanted to help out the smalll business owner like my sister. I also don't like the high shipping AVON charges. My sister used to drive all over to deliver her clients orders and in California, that is expensive! So now it ships from your warehouse direct- butt I have to wait to order lots to avoid that cost. Thus I may only shop once per year. I also had to wait for over a month for the mascara I like to be in stock. That is ridiculous. And the prices of the products as well.

It kept saying network error or invalid credit card. I put in correct credit card number. Almost gave up. Web site wasn’t working? Signed up for text and email for 15% off and it never gave it to me.

I am just disappointed with the schemes and rip offs. I partially regret placing an order. Free shipping is hard to obtain as you have to spend so much money in order to get free shipping but then they give you a small, super small discount that is way less than what you pay for shipping. Then, they put the lotion on sale as if it was a sale, but it is really the original price the lotion costed 3 years or so ago. They are ripping us off as consumers by doubling the price and then lowering it back down to its original price to make us think we are getting a deal and we're not. I hope this will be my last order with Avon.

Horrible experience. Website very difficult to transverse, kept me going around and around. The only reason I continued to the end is that I have used this fragrance for 30+ years and consistently get compliments, and I have not been able to find a suitable substitute. I can find no Avon representatives in my vicinity anymore.

There are a few products I buy specifically from AVON. I like that there is an on-line store so I have the option of purchasing directly, not through a representative. When I was loading my regular face items, I ran across two new body products that sounded good, so I got those to try out. It seems like it takes AVON longer to arrive than my other on-line purchases, but since I usually take advantage of free shipping whenever possible, I expect it to take a bit longer. What I was surprised with, though, was that there was not much packing in the box. The lid to my collagen cream was cracked, which was a bit disappointing.

Last night I tried several times to complete the order online, but the website stalled, and wouldn't let me put in the cvc code for my credit card. After an hour + of trying, I finally turned off the computer, and went to bed. Today, I was able to add the cvc and finish the checking out for the order.
