When placing order originally, paying by PayPal, when returning to Avon, kept getting msg that credit card was not on record. After third try, gave up and then got three emails from PayPal with three separate charges. Called Avon, but your automated answering system had no option for my problem and when I requested customer service, automated reply was did understand my request. So I called my rep and she assured me that unless I received confirmation of my order from Avon, I would not be charged. Tried next day, and everything went through with no problem. So. I would say you had computer issues, and your contact number is a total waste of time, and automated answering service is a total waste of time for your customers. I have been a loyal Avon customer since the 70s, and over the years you have dropped carrying products that I loved and used for years. Only a few items left that I still purchase and am sure they will be dropped in the future. Technology is neither customer friendly of intelligent enough to handle unusual issues. I used to be a computer programmer in 80-90s and the programs written today are evidently written by idiots. If it isn’t broke, don’t try to fix it. Needless to say, I am fed up wasting my time trying to deal with canned, automated systems, especially when no human representative is available to answer issues not in the automated programs. Sure way to lose business.
