I used to use generators direct, but since they were bought by Ferguson there web site is so hard to navigate through that I stopped buying from them & switched to you guys. your web site isn't as good as generators direct was but its better then Fergusons

The ordering process was quick and easy. Notifications on when the item was shipped were timely, but we did not receive a tracking number before the product was delivered. That was uncomfortable as we had no idea of where the item was in the delivery process.

Rob Beierman did a good job of non hi pressure sales but worked hard to price well so that we did not utilize a lower priced online purchase. Friendly on time delivery and good support so far.

shipping woes

AP had the better price that I found but was charged an extra $116.00 shipping because of my area. The delivery truck had no problem with where I lived. The shipping company just assumed it was going to be difficult delivery and AP passed the charges to me so the discounted price was nulled some by the unexpected shipping charge. I think the delivery company should refund me the extra charge now that they realized it was a normal delivery on paved roads and concrete driveway.

I purchased a Kohler 12RESV generator and transfer switch from AP a few years ago. It now has about 12hours run time, 5 of which is actual outage time. They are my go-to place for maintenence etc.

AP sells defective generators!

I ordered a brand new generator. It was serviced with oil and gasoline. How have all the gasoline immediately leaked out spilling down the mid deck of my boat then down into the bilge causing a hazard. I told them the generator could not be used because it leaks fuel and they tell me I have to take it to a dealer to be repaired. I did not buy a generator that has to be taken to a dealer to be repaired. It was purchased brand new therefore expected as any other order. A generator that stunts and runs.
