I loved the low price and free shipping but the website does lack presentation and could use more a more modern style/design it’s a bit too sophisticated or sterile if it was more simple like Sweetwater I feel it would be much more trustworthy

Ordering from AMS is super easy. I find what I want, put it in my cart, choose my payment plan and 2 days later it's here. I like American Musical Supply primarily for 2 reasons. The no interest payment plans are much better than using Affirm or other BNPL plans, and the fast shipping. It normally takes 2 days to get something. They don't have quite the selection of products or brands like the big music store in Ft Wayne Indiana, but they are getting new brands in all the time.

my item was backordered so i expected it to be late, just not as late as it was. I wasn't given many updates during the months I waited, so I strongly considered canceling the order. I don't think this is a common experience with AMS but it is something to consider.

I prefer the old style KSM-32. The new version has some differences that didn't appeal to proper functionality. The screen is more reflective.

I love AMS because not only do they have literally anything you could possibly want for your guitar (and many other instruments), they also offer flexible payment options. That’s how I was able to afford buying a brand new guitar! They ship things fast and they offer all the brands you want as far as parts, maintenance, accessories, etc etc.

Some music producers, DJs and audio artist friends recommended this site to me a few years back. I’m thankful for the payment options and credit check as it helps artists get what they need go and continue growing even if with a low budget. I’ve recommended the site to many people, and it gave them more hope that they could get going with their music and audio dreams sooner without having all the money up front. Guitar strap came with poorly designed holes to go over buttons on the guitar. Holes way too small and stiff rendering the strap unusable! Had to use a drill, box cutter and file to widen the holes which is infuriating given the price of the strap and I’ve NEVER had to do this with any other straps. I regret buying this customized strap and am very disappointed with the poor purchase experience.
