Responded to an e-mail sale promotion on Sunday evening. excellent price offer of $12 ea. for large jar candles. Spent over 2 hours trying to complete the purchase. The website would not progress to the shipping and payment section of checkout. no 24/7 customer service available, so gave up around midnight after sending customer service an e-mail describing my problem and frustration. Called the next morning, the $12 price had returned to the normal $34.99. Talked with a friendly agent who tried to help but explained there was no way he could sell the candles to me at the $12 price of the day before. Agent arraigned what he said was the best he could offer, a 20% discount combined with todays buy one get one offer. I wound up purchasing the same 2 large jar candles I was unable to complete purchase of the previous night. The cost today was about $7.50 more that hat it would have been if the website had not failed to complete my purchase the previous night. This was probably still a good buy (if delivery is made in the time stated). The entire process was very frustrating, and upsetting.
