I spent a long time selecting my products on Yankee Candle only for them to cancel part of my order. Then, I wasn’t notified of how my money was to be refunded. I paid with a gift card and PayPal. I had a partial refund on PP but I didn’t know where the balance of my refund was for the unshipped items. I would have just preferred them to send me extras of the items I ordered rather than just canceling my order for those items. At least offer your customer that option rather than just cancelling part of their order. Then, one of my items was missing all together. This isn’t the first time this has happened to me. One time Yankee Candle deliberately split my order up so they could charge me a shipping fee twice. When all of the items could have easily fit into one box. That is bad business as my Mother says. Ripping off your customers to make a quick extra buck is never a good business practice. I used to buy my candles from Amy’s Country Candles. Her candles are triple scented and smell and last longer than any YC I have ever purchased. Her store closed in the mall but she still sells online. I may just have to go back to her candles. I’m over being taken advantage of as a valued customer.
