I didnāt like being bombarded with a sales teaser right off the bat. Iām not experienced in online purchasing so I felt irritated and confused trying to negotiate what to do. I just wanted to get to the available selections. Then, once my selections were completed I could deal with your need to build your customer base, but please, let me get what I need first. It is rude to expect the customer to take care of you before taking care of them.
Also, I wasnāt quite clear on how to get around the lure of a discount so I reluctantly gave my email and checked the box just to get the discount, only to find out during the checkout that the discount was available on my ānextā order. Talk about being frustrated.
All of that being said was to give you an idea about how someone inexperienced feels shopping online.
But, I also want to share with you about how much I love your products. I raised both of my daughters with the warmth of your candles which I would burn as I waited for them to arrive home from school. They still talk about it today after 20 years have passed. Their girlfriends talk about it too. The house was clean, dinner was cooking, a healthy snack was waiting and the candles were burning.
Those are some of the best memories. In the winter I had a fire burning as well. It all fit together beautifully. The Yankee candles pulled together the warmth of those precious years and even today, when my girls come over I burn your candles because it smell like home-beautiful.
