Exceptional Customer Service Saved My Holiday Order!
I recently placed an order with Yankee Candle Company, and while my experience started with a slight hiccup in scent selection, the phenomenal customer service completely won me over.
First, I want to praise the logistics: the order was delivered promptly, and the packaging was excellent—everything arrived safe and sound with nothing broken. The majority of the candles were perfect, but two scents were misses for me personally. The Balsam & Cedar Fireside smelled distinctly like soap, and the Cranberry Chutney oddly reminded me of grape Kool-Aid.
This is where Yankee Candle truly shone. I called customer support, and the representative was genuinely kind and incredibly helpful. She made the return process easy, facilitating an exchange right away. I placed an order for two replacement candles I already love for the Christmas season: Balsam & Cedar and Red Apple Wreath. These are always a hit, and my Christmas guests have always raved about how wonderfully they scent our home.
What impressed me the most was the representative going above and beyond to assist with the return shipping. Since I don't have a printer at home, she looked up all the locations in my local area where I could take the return, print the shipping label, and have the package shipped back to Yankee Candle—all in one easy step. This level of personalized assistance is rare and highly appreciated.
