I had received a birthday gift from Yankee Candle. I realized right after I checked out with my order that I forgot to add it. I immediately contacted customer service , who in turn told me I could not add this to the order I ALREADY paid shipping for. That I would have to place a new order to receive the birthday gift. Very, very unfair since I had just clicked submit on the order and not to mention the order did not ship until 4;days later !!
Once I received the candles I was very disappointed in the size. 😔
In addition, I received in my email a flyer which said free shipping on orders $25 or more.
So I got my order together (In addition added my free birthday gift) and shipping did not come off.
I contacted customer service, who in turn told me I had to be a member. Which I replied "I am a member,". Then was informed by customer service that flyer was meant for those who spend $50 or more.
At this point I was too tired to argue.
I have no more respect for Yankee candle customer service, the company and their products.
Overated , that's what I'd tell my friend.
