I recently went to the Yankee Candle Company, and honestly, I had a really good experience. There were two employees working — a guy and a woman — and even though I don’t remember their names, they both stood out because of how helpful they were.
The woman helped me find scents that matched what I like without being too strong, which I really appreciated because I can be picky about that. We ended up choosing Juicy Watermelon and Wild Orchid, and both were perfect for what I was looking for.
Then when I was checking out, the guy asked if I knew the best way to light and care for a candle. I said no, and instead of just moving on, he actually took the time to show me how to properly trim the wick so the candle burns better and lasts longer. I didn’t feel rushed or judged at all — it felt like he genuinely wanted to help.
Since that visit, I’ve actually gone back and ordered more candles online. Even though they are a bit expensive, to me they’re worth it because the scents are so good and really fill the room. The only downside is that I wish they lasted longer — but that’s probably because I burn them all the time.
Overall, I had a really positive experience and would definitely recommend Yankee Candle. The customer service made a big difference, and it’s the kind of place I’d go back to again.
