In the middle of this week, I tried to make my purchase with a gift card, birthday promo code, and VC credit card. My VC credit card was rejected (even though it shows 08/26 as valid thru). I went back and put in a different card, went back to check out and my gift card that I had not used yet was showing as $0! I called and was told that I had to wait 3-5 days for the original balance to show again. Today, I tried to order again…my original gift card amount was there once again but when I put my VC credit card in, once again, it was not accepted. I called customer service again. I was told because I had not used my card in the past 90 days, I would need to reinstate the card…this policy is absolutely ridiculous. I do not always charge my purchases at the store, I use cash. So even though I have purchased at VC during those 90 days, your policy is to make someone re-apply for a MC? My card says valid thru 08/26. I am not going to apply for a VC MC every 3 months. I cancelled my card. I used another card to complete my purchase but I am not happy with this experience…if it takes 5 days and two phone calls to VC to complete a sale, in addition to not honoring my credit card with a future valid thru date…what is my incentive to continue to purchase with you?
