I mainly turn for gifts for my family around Christmas so I do not place a whole lot of orders anymore. All of my personal experience with the exception ( I was literally yelled at on the phone by one of the "family members") of one time has been ok, but just that, just ok. The one time I was blamed for ordering the wrong thing when it was not on the website or in the magazine correctly. I was told that I should base my orders off the magazine item number. There is many problems with that, you have to sign up for the magazine, the item number was also wrong in the magazine, people shop online. PennState Industries does show their true colors sometimes in responses to their customers. They read as rude, condescending, and I don't know how else to put it but full of themselves. Like there is absolutely zero chance that their product is at fault. Just own up and accept that it can be and sometimes is. They always blame the turner. Once I noticed this kind of feedback and experienced this kind of customer service I wanted to switch to somewhere else but I already have purchased drill bits and bushings that are compatible with PennState kits and the other websites do not match. It is nice to see that they finally have a members point system, it would be nice if the free shipping for orders over $49 was a permanent thing.
