Parts Geek is always my first choice for ordering parts. This is the first time that I have had a problem. I entered my car information and entered the part that I was looking for. I ordered that part that the website said would fit my car. A few hours later, a friend that is a Ford mechanic informed me that the part I ordered was not the correct part. I contacted Parts Geek a few hours after I submitted the order and was informed that it was too late to cancel the order (it had not yet been shipped). I filled out the online return form and when asked for the reason for the return it did not allow me to type in an answer. Instead, it provided a drop-down list to select a reason from. The reason for my return was not listed. My reason was that the part the website told me would fit my car was incorrect. It was misleading. I selected a listed reason that was closest to my actual reason. I was then informed that I would be required to pay the shipping fee and a restocking fee. That was kind of a steep price for ordering a part that the website said would fit my car. I will continue to shop at PartsGeek.com but have learned to not trust it when it says a part will fit my car. I will do more research to confirm the part prior to ordering. It would be helpful if the website had an option to enter the vehicle's VIN to better confirm the part fit for that specific vehicle. I am still a big fan of Parts Geek but have learned to be more diligent in my parts research.
