The items ordered were improperly packed at Midway's warehouse, where they dumped ammo boxes in a long cardboard box with a soft shotgun case, and then the box was treated poorly by UPS. The cardboard box had its bottom ripped off probably helped by shifting heavy ammo boxes, and some ammo boxes failed, scattering cartridges; some cartridges and a couple boxes of ammo were just plainly lost/stolen. Cartridges were visible on the outside of the box wrapped in clear tape after UPS tried to put it back together. I inadvertently defaulted to Extend insurance due to Midway's insidious checkout page routine, you have to 'uncheck' Extend coverage, which I would not have done/gotten. I'm still fighting with Extend a week later; my claim has been denied several times despite photos of the box condition as it arrived and contents. Extend seems to be making it so difficult in hopes I will just surrender. Midway will do nothing for me in this situation and they seem OK with it. Midway may lose a long time customer, and I'm telling the story to whoever will listen. I told it a few times at the range yesterday. Order Number: 68654794.
